My 100 Peso A Day Challenge for 365 days

My 100 Peso A Day Challenge for 365 days

Saving is not easy for breadwinners. When you’re the one covering bills, groceries, emergencies, and sometimes even other people’s dreams, saving often feels like the last thing on the list. I used to think that because I had so many responsibilities, saving just wasn’t realistic for me.

But this year, I realized something important: being a breadwinner shouldn’t stop you from saving—it should motivate you to start, even in small ways.

That’s how the ₱100-a-day challenge for 2026 was born.

The idea is simple. No pressure to save thousands at once, no guilt when money feels tight—just a commitment to set aside ₱100 a day whenever possible. Some days will be easy, some days will be hard, and there may even be days I miss. And that’s okay. This challenge isn’t about perfection; it’s about consistency and building a habit that actually fits real life.

₱100 may not seem like much, but over time, it adds up. More importantly, it shifts your mindset. It proves that even as a breadwinner, you can choose yourself too. You can prepare for the future without sacrificing the present.

I’m sharing this journey here not because I have everything figured out, but because I know I’m not alone. If you’re also trying to balance responsibilities, dreams, and finances, maybe this challenge can inspire you to start small—on your own terms.

If this resonates with you, I’d love for you to join me.
Try the ₱100-a-day challenge in your own way, follow along with my updates, or share your own saving journey in the comments. Let’s remind each other that progress—no matter how small—is still progress.

Here’s to small steps, small amounts, and a better financial future—one ₱100 day at a time ✨
